The fact that the translator keeps using words like “uncomfy”, “hubby”…
Quite honestly, when trying to read it breaks immersion and it’s a bit of a pain to read…
As title says, it’s an interesting concept, definitely original in its execution…
However the writing has a messy pace, things happen without any reason behind them, some things are just thrown there without giving them any emotional weight, some are explained two/theee/four times.
It might also be a problem with the translation, but honestly not the best comic I read, better than some others, but worser than many more.
Dropped on the second chapter.
Interesting idea but from the very beginning some things in the writing make no sense: no one questions anything, a person is dead in front of them and just a fraction of a second is dedicated to the shock and right after the characters behave like it’s the most normal thing, they exit the elevator and no panel is truly dedicated to the reaction other than a “surprised pikachu face” and a “it’s a calamity” writing, then the old man they rescued is let go home by itself in the middle of flying dragons and falling stones, and the house of the MC is fine and even the internet works, even if the whole city is shown in ruins.
All of this makes no sense, and if it’s at the beginning, I can’t imagine the abysmal plot holes that would expect me in the future.
Not worth it, sorry.
