I don't understand something, in every manga, mahwa, manhua etc. they don't let the fathers in when their wives are giving birth. Why thou, Is it some cultural thing or I am missing out
I don’t know about the manhwas. But long ago in my culture, men weren’t allowed in the birth room because birth was essentially seen as a woman only thing. And also because of patriarchy, being in the birth room as a man would somehow be “emasculating”. Also anything related to children and taking care of them was seen as a woman’s work so it was unconventional in that society to let a man see the process of a child coming to this world. Because all the father had to do was provide for his family that was his role, and all the children related stuff was only for the woman to bear. essentially, it was just a culture that accommodated for men they didn’t want the man to see the laborious process as to not scare him or emasculate him because they thought that men should just be given the child instead of them seeing how hard it is and him also having to bear some of the emotional pressure of childbirth.
Having fathers in the room as a norm is actually a very recent development like less than a century recent. It took a lot of work for it to happen it’s interesting to learn about

Hey all. I was reading manhua about twin espers (one with black the other with red hair) and guide, where the guide became S grade after spending the night with them. Both twins are in love with our guide, their animals (like spirits) are panthers and his is lamb. I can't find it in my readings
