I hope the misunderstanding can be cleared sometime soon. Is Jio really a monster or a player/hunter?
Seo Jio is originally a human but I think during the “end of the world” or whatever they call it he gained powers from “The Root” and his powers and paintings are powers closest to the root so he doesn’t seem human to other humans if that makes sense. But originallly he was born, raised, and lived as a regular human.

Unfortunately not. He doesn't remember but he wasn't the only survivor of the fire. He brought in 5 students. These students lived in the painting with him. Then he rescued other people (from another dimension I don't recall but like feel free to correct me) and these people killed him. Then ate him. Then his students found him and they also ate him.
So yeah he genuinely is an entity now

Oh okay, cool!!!! Now that makes sense why Giovanni said they were similar in many ways. Now I’m excited to see the other Jio associated people give him and if he starts to get his memories back!!
