Haven’t binged a manga in a while and binged this all night, really loved the emotions and thought in plot and slow burn and was amazing to see the art improve in real time and so much more. The pace of plot and everything was just right to me and this felt realistic, haven’t felt like this about a manga in a while. Their relationship had many reasonable up and downs but it was a healthy portrayal and the after story chapters were the cutest. The moment I read this, I knew it was either gonna be really bad or really good and I’m so glad it was good because I had no idea where the plot was heading with the first few chapters being of a guy randomly picking up someone on the streets lol. But the backstory and them having similar upbringings and the love interest having such a kind and mature personality was refreshing to see. The age gap bothered me a bit but he’s legal so meh… and as you continue to read, you realize how much they needed each other in their lives and honestly saved each other. Personally loved this so much. Makes my heart hurt knowing it’s completed.
I read this a long time ago but I just got back into it and I just have to say so thankful for the creator actually having a brain and not disappointing us by ending it with the healthier end game and the better male lead because I'm so sick of seeing love triangles where they end up with the way more toxic man and everybody is OK with it because he's hot. Jihyun got what he deserved.
actually the most beautiful and well thought out bl storyline ever, with the most complex unforgettable main characters. im just speechless and forever hold this story in my heart, theres just something about it, the trope of having to be together and not being able to let each other go and having their own set of traumas and problems. hits deep.
