I thought the implicit rule would not be followed in the first place. Someone is willing to break the rules to thank you.
Because people thanks the uploader, not the writer.
I mean, sure - no matter what series it is, at some point, somebody WILL upload it somewhere, there's no doubt about it.
However I do believe that waiting a few days, does indeed help the creator. some people are impatient and want to know how it continues, so they'll spend their points and buy it within the first 1 or 2 days. but if they see, someone already uploaded it, just mere hours after the release, they'll surely read it for free and save their points for something else :/
