He’s a literal saint and is doing a community service being with that old man
I feel like the friend that would tell Han Garam the man he's dating sucks, then Han Garam would tell me "I know him, he's not like that" and all I can do is pray whatever he sees actually exists
The build up and tension in the story is one of it's greatest strengths, it's keeping me on my tippy toes oml

The amount of times i kept rereading this to satisfy the cravings is crazy

Everybody in this story get off my boy Garam's back yo I'm genuinely scared he's going to spiral down a dark path TBF, the story wouldn't be the same without all this conflict sighh I'm obsessed
Kim Heejae is so well written, he's so realistic. I've literally met this type of emotionally blocked off, short tempered, problematic geniuses before irl. He makes the story interesting, I feel on edge "Ah, please don't hurt people again, you're getting better" and then he goes back to his ways. Han Garam's love struck perspective blinds me, I get swept up with him thinking it's a great time, until the inevitable problems in the background become clearer and seep in. Yeah, I know a people like Kim Heejae, I don't like them quite frankly. But in a story? They're great, he's great, as a character.
I'm a kim heejea stan . He is actually my fav character and without him the story would be dull af.
