Epilogue was unneeded and frankly took away from the whole story. The ending was a fine enough place to stop, Azuma's reaction to Seki's question was believable from all we've seen reading the manga. And you already get the feel of the mother's personality from seki and what happened in the manga in general. But when you add the epilogue it all seems too much like the mangaka was trying to give a pointlessly happy ending for all involved. What was wrong with the ending already made?-it might not have been completely happy, but it certainly wasn't sad, and it left you feeling satisfied. The epilogue just makes the characters feel cheap.(And when you have a character whose whole persona is literally criticizing bad manga, that's pretty bad to add that in right at the end)

Victor and Yuuri! This anime is currently my greatest joy. Saved 2016 from being a shitty year. This pairing is just so realistic and sweet. And it being a sports rather than your regular BL anime adds to its charm! ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ Gorgeous animation, absolutely lovely characters and a CANON male pairing!!! WATCH IT! Love it. ☆❀
