I want the queen stripped and beheaded, and the extinction and massacre of all the Angenas. My dream is purge and genocide.
Hey, I don't support genocide in real life, but let's be realistic, the Second Prince killed everyone, including the people in Aunt's house in the first life. It's very likely he'll get rid of all the Angenas again, even for certainty and future security, besides them being criminals. And we're talking about nobility and royalty, conflicts and purges of noble houses were normal in the setting that inspired the work.
Genocide would only be justifiable in real life in the case of "Total War". Total War is a war of extermination in which the losing side loses everything. It's a matter of survival. For example, if major powers decided to go to war and escalate to a nuclear level, one would be decimated first, and the other would gain the right to continue existing (full of the consequences of such a conflict).
Okay, it reminded me a bit of another manhwa, "On the Way to Meet Mom." I thought the art was good, but it doesn't come close to that of "On the Way to Meet Mom." I liked the premise and found this first chapter cute and a little sad. It also has fantasy elements, and that captivates me a little. I'll follow it and saved it to one of my reading recommendations lists.
You have an extremely biased opinion and you don't even realize it.
The fact that the grandmother abandoned Hye-Sung is judged excessively, but the fact that Sung abandoned Byul is not.
You can empathize with Sung because you read about how miserable her life was, but you judge her mother without knowing her circumstances. We know that both were victims of psychological abuse, but what must have been the limits of this abuse for her? Was it only psychological or did it reach the physical and sexual realm as well? Some people kill themselves because of abuse, some run away, some crumble. We can see this in victims of bullying. And what happens when bullying becomes blatant and unrestricted abuse, a constant companion within your own home?
I also don't like the grandmother, but at least I can be rational and weigh my personal opinion against my impression of something or someone and judge the situation with the best mental state instead of spewing hatred for a fictional character, but one who represents a significant portion of people. Contain your intolerance and misogyny.
It's true that Byul's grandmother could have handled it differently, she could have taken her son with her, she could have done a thousand and one things differently and better, but we don't always make the best decision, do the right thing at the right time. We all carry regrets. It's important to acknowledge mistakes and try to redeem ourselves.
I hope you can reflect a little more before commenting on these kinds of things.
At the beginning of the narrative, or at some point, everyone hated Byul's father, but the key to opinion spins too quickly and you forget things too easily because it's easier and more convenient.
Some of you let yourselves be manipulated too easily and contribute to equally toxic and destructive narratives in this cycle of hatred and destruction of others.
Be better than that.
...ur misunderstanding ALOT. First of all i think everyone still hates dojin if you don't then ur a creep and a weirdo cause dojin fully graped Hyesung. That is why you comparing Hyesung's situation with byul to his own mom is so crazy to me Hyesung was graped and knows what its like to bring a child into the world that has a mother who is uninterested in the marriage. Even then, he wanted o make sure if byul was born he would be born to a good family. Hye's ,other tho (we all know her circumstances it was literally laid out lmao) abandoned him with an abusive family and went crawling back after her new family went bust. Her new family was smart enough to cut ties with her tho. Be better than supporting abusers, neglectful parents, and weirdos like dojin (I dont wanna go as far as to say u support grapists like dojin cause this is just fiction but u seem to be passionate about this lol)
When you say you don't want to imply that I support abusers like Dojin, but you imply that you think so, you just want to appear innocent in your accusation. That's low, it's almost like a mean girl making sarcastic comments and then saying oops, it was unintentional, I didn't mean anything wrong with that. But yes, you did!
"I don't wanna go as far as to say you support graphic novelists like Dojin because this is just fiction, but you seem to be passionate about this lol"
And again, I don't like his mother, but we only have a brief fragment of her story. I'm not defending her as right, but things aren't black and white, there are shades of gray between them. There's complexity beyond that.
I don't like Dojin either, maybe it's the curiosity about what comes next that keeps me reading. In general, I read some "tragic" manga to cry, some end up being too heavy for me and I drop them. I feel that reading about these tragic plots is like revisiting certain experiences and a process of externalizing some internal conflicts. So I read, cry, and suffer with the characters, feeling like trash for days, and then it kind of cleanses some of the hurt in me.
I felt the need to defend, slightly, Byul's grandmother because I have also been a victim of sexual, psychological, and physical violence, and I don't know what I would do in her situation. I most likely wouldn't abandon a child, but it's easy for me to say that without being in that situation. In a way, my situation was less complex at that point. I was alone, so I only needed to fight for myself.
I think you forgot what happened when they met again after she knew that his son married Dojin who is rich. I didn't think she regrets it. She even gaslighted Hyesung. If she really reflected then Hyesung won't act like this. People won't act like this.
Girl I'm also a victim and also experience someone who I thought my ally to invalidated my feelings for the one who did wrong to me. Saying past is past like I'm some kind of inconvenient obstacle to make the family be at peace. I mean, do we really have to suck it all up without addressing it all or making them suffer a little? A little? Do we really need to sacrifice again? Just let be for the sake of the family?
At least in fiction they can make impossible to be possible. I don't want my fictional character to experience that kind of bullshit.
We don't need those people in our lives. We can forgive but don't forget. It is not like we need to force people to be together just so people will know we already forgive them. We forgive them and never face them again.
That woman is already living his life without a care for Hyesung and you want Hyesung to care for her too? For a victim like us, you're too cruel.
Bitch go f yourself! Pathetic! The moment someone started bullying me or attacking me, I would stab that bastard to death! I remember when they bullied me at school for being gay, until then I kept quiet. When they got together and started physical aggression, I beat them all, I wanted to kill them, but unfortunately I would have to go to jail for killing scum like them. I can't stand how they put gays as victims, Fack! fiFight back bitches! Wtf is wrong with this rotten brain of yours! Are you guys into some real bad BDSM sort of shit?! I can't tolerate this anymore, so frustrating! Ogm I just can't!
Uke was an abandoned and neglected child, he is lacking in affection and emotionally dependent. But it's kind of strange that he's so "pure", he's naive and portrait in a infantilized way, kink shame on U bitches! Seme is disgusting, a horrible person. The big horse with his horse dick and horse shit.
What makes me most upset is the fact that mangakas do this on purpose at the end of the work, they prolong some chapters too much, where nothing really happens. Just like TV channels and streaming do with series, they extend something for another 7 seasons when it should end in 3. It's irritating! I could mention some authors who create a universe and then only write about that, super unnecessary wtf. But I understand in this case, after all, when it's over they kind of run out of income or their income drops a lot, we ourselves are a problem because we read without paying and even though it's expensive for us (I couldn't pay for all the manga that I read for free around here) is the work and income of the artists, so good luck milking the dairy.
Btw, I think Uke will lose everything, because Seme will feel betrayed by him because of the fucking photo and the situation, so Uke will lose his grandmother, lose his job, the place he lives, his salary and will be humiliated by the seme for a misunderstanding. Uke will be miserable. So the seed must lose the fight, lose the title, get a permanent and very serious injury, not recover and lose almost everything. The seme is going to be a miserable fuck up too. Then we enter the arc of redemption, peace, forgiveness, acceptance of feelings and a happy ending. Just a guess though...

I simply couldn’t keep reading. I read the first chapter, and in that first chapter the main character was so pathetic about her relationship and everything else, like “If I eat the side dish, maybe my boyfriend will hit me.” Like, what the fuck, bitch? Everything is so wrong, so messed up. It’s ridiculous. No. I refuse!
If she’s this pathetic in the first chapter, I don’t even want to imagine whether she’ll manage to stop being pathetic for the rest of the story. I don’t even want to risk reading this shit. Seriously, people, don’t be like that. Don’t be that pathetic. For God’s sake, women, let’s be strong.
Wow I love the way you stand up for abuse victims. So good. If you couldn't tell that was heavy sarcasm. I don't like this manhwa either and skipped through a massive chunk of chapters (from chapter 1 to the last one) but even I could realise how abuse works.
