I was thinking that ML probably realized that MC is suspicious of him so he decided to stop faking his identity and approach MC properly as the real him.
But I feel like it will only make MC feel betrayed more. If that Euichan is the one said to have betrayed MC's trust in the past, I won't be surprised if he avoid ML completely.
Tbh I can understand Jaekyoung's view of this. He has been saying he will retire right from the beginning, so for the agency to suddenly force him to keep competing because of a jealous party saying stupid things of course not gonna make him happy.
But at the same time, from the agency's side, they of course think from various perspectives. Business, financial impact, sponsors etc are not something to be taken lightly.
Though I don't really like how Jaekyoung asked for sex in this situation, but I can understand he's asking something big in exchange for giving up something big (retire).

I had an experience similar to that green haired boy during my college days...
The partner of my male college junior in the same club, who's also not even a student there, suddenly came for the first time to pick him up and me, who just got introduced to his partner, glared sharply by his partner and he asked "who are you to him?"
I was like "???? I'm his senior???" and getting 'oh I see' as a reply. Like bro I wasn't even close with my junior and he also rarely came to the club, there were other girls there as well so why would you only asking me like that
Can you believe I usually saw that kind of scene in some mangas, but at that time I was the one getting questioned and since then I would be reminded by that memory everytime I found a similar situation. And since then I also have complicated feeling meeting/seeing someone's jealousy/possessive boyfriends, IRL or fiction.
