To be careful maybe or she's planning how to get his brother safely away from the "bullies" in case they do anything bad?
They made her dumb. Most girls in stories like this are like that and those qualities makes them save-able to make the mc more cool haha

The ML goes through and loves the FL so much that all he want's if for the FL to be happy and healthy whether it's with him or without him. When the FL becomes a vegetable for those 5 years he basically becomes a human experiment to try to find a way to heal the FL and wake her up from becoming a vegetable which he does but he had to endure excruciating pain almost everyday as a result from the experiments and medication he took for those 5 years. In the story he is dying but uses medication to extend the amount of time he has left and from the side effects (He will lose his all his senses and slowly become a vegetable) from appearing to spend more time with the FL. He has known and loved the Fl since they were little and calls her his Princess, as that is what she is to him and would do anything for the FL. He's the Greenest flag I've seen so far when it comes to ML's and then after going though so much he dies at the end (I'm still hoping the author changes the ending of the story)
There's a lot more I left out but I would suggest go reading it for the ML if anything
