Seeing how passionate everyone about the two main characters, the author wrote their characters well.
They definitely both have their issues and they have communicated what they don’t like about how the other person is acting, but they’re still finding it hard to change the root problem.
I feel like they keep giving us little hints, like at the beginning of the chapter.
