Bro is stressed. He doesn't want a be pushed into becoming king so quickly without proper preparation. He didn't want the position to begin with that he has a wife he will but not under the pressure of his father who has been pressuring him since day one. His wife and them should have communicated He's very stressed in this moment and he also feels like he's not being heard She took this up without any other context or even considering the fact that both her husband and her father-in-law are not getting along I'm not sure why she ignored her husband in this situation at all It's kind of weird. Pretty sure she felt inadequate in her role since she expressed she is missing a lot of training/knowledge, the royals have gotten since they were little. For example she cant speak multiple languages and is struggling to keep up with the paper work and her duties. Which is why she was so eager to find lady in waitings/attendees. Combined with her insecurity of her struggling family she is eager to prove herself to everyone and especially wants the approval of the current emperor.
