i've been reading isekai manhwa for a little more than a year now and I'm wondering what was the isekai story that made this trend roll. I'm sure this style is not new but I wanna know what created this fire of isekai stories when I first started reading (September 2019).
I've read classics like doctor elise and the reason why raeliana... but I doubt those were the first flames. tho I prefer manhwa/webtoon since its colored, manga recommendations would do as well. please recommend!
if im being honest, i think it was "the one who made me a princess." it's been out since 2018 and it gained traction during 2019 and so on.
for isekai/reincarnation manhwas i'd recommend
- a stepmother's marchen
- trash of the count's family
- the emperor who turned back time
- death is the only ending for the villianess
- miss not so sidekick
"the one who made me a princess" i assume you mean suddenly became princess one day. i've been reading that since 2019 lol I've also tried, read, or am reading all the other ones you've listed haha which is why I'm trying to seek older stories but thank you nonetheless
