In season one I almost cried due to the tragedy of it all. I loves the concept that sihoo was a hallucination and the way that seungchan was able to be some sort of comfort for myeongchan.
But in all honesty this story is not that good...
LET ME EXPLAIN. Hear me out. Myeongchan’s character is such a pushover. It is understandable why he is going through what he is going through. But to never stand up for yourself to the point that all you are is a damsel in distress isn’t good either.
In no point in this story is there really a major development for seungchan’s and myeongchan’s relationship. There was barely any communication and myeongchan wasn’t honest with his boyfriend with thing he should have definitely disclosed such as sihoo’s constant advances. I pity him a lot for constantly being in the dark and ignorant of what was going on.
I dislike the concept of a love triangle where the mc pays way more attention to the person who is trying to gain his attention rather than their own lover.
This story has so much potential to develop such a good story. The whole concept of a person you imagined was there turning out to be real and you figuring things out alongside someone new you love is unique. But the author really didn’t development it well and it ended up making nearly all characters except seungchan and his friend unlikeable.
Ok but can we talk about how the seme is respectfully and isn’t a complete jerk. They both are working on communicating even though the uke found this whole situation quite bizarre. Yea he seemed annoying and cold in the beginning but I kinda found it justifiable due to him just randomly getting thrown into this situation with his boss.
And it seems that he is slowly gaining feelings and both seem to be working around this situation. One thing I do hope is that the seme would explain more about the situation regarding the god. Because they are completely out of the picture and hard to imagine. So far that part with the god is quite foggy and hard to understand but I rlly do see this manhwa going a a good direction and can’t wait to read more :)))
Why are all the BOYS around her so entitled????? They do whatever they want without consideration towards the FL and then tell her why does she not consider THEIR FEELINGS?!? If I were her I’d stay with the old man too.
Geez it’s really bad and not cute at all in the way they act.... they try and force themselves into relationships with her, do things behind her back, all up in her business, and talk hella smack. All these bad qualities and they still treat her like she is some innocent little girl who doesn’t know what she is doing. And needs them to save her????? ( ̄へ ̄)

Interesting plot in the beginning. I loved the whole concept that the duke was split into two and how we found out that the FL was kinda from a different dimension but not really. But the issue I see is the multiple plot holes or routes this could have taken that would have made the story sooo much more interesting.
For starters just the family background between FL, High Priest, ReRe, and the emperor its self is a plot twist that could have made this story juicier but was never expanded on. Former emperor never found out that FL is technically his cousin or the High Priest’s Grand Daughter (the daughter between the emperor’s brother and the High Priest’s daughter). And if you really think about it RERE being the daughter of the emperor (I’m side eyeing the treading of an incesty relationship between the prince and rere btw) means not only is Rere the sister of the prince but the FL niece.
The ML never found out the FL was also a part of the royal family and just blindly accepts the fact that FL and rere COINCIDENTALLY have the same illness and symptoms. FL keeping all this information to herself is hurtful as it would also provide context to a lot of things. They never tell the children their relationship or at-least to the prince (now emperor) that hey RERE is your sister but we plan to not reveal that and keep her as our child maybe??? (They gave a very vague dialogue at the very last minute to save face by having the prince call her “princess”)
Another point I would like to make. We completely forget the ML had a different side and personality. In the beginning he was cold and heartless with deep insecurities. And his other half was witty and outgoing. Once blended the ML completely changes and becomes soft but in an almost “perfect ML” type of way to the point it comes off as annoying. He does such a one 180 the story goes from having pretty descent story building to mush playful fluff with barely any true scenes that would have brought this story together more.
1 FL ML become a family without getting married and have kids out of wedlock. So how does she truly become a duchess besides just the announcement.
2. We never get those key conversations between adults to help progress the story just cuts two action scenes and “poof” problem gone in 1 chapter.
3. They have kids with what I believe no real progress to their romance. Just a family playing “house” but no confessions of feelings and just suddenly out of nowhere “lovey dovey couple” when the duke really wanted to kick FL out multiple times.
But oh well pretty decent story. I’m done yapping
I mean they do actually explain most of these in the story although you might have missed it. But a few are:
The emperor never actually wanted Rere to marry his son, he wanted to make her crown princess so he could control her and eliminate her later and therefore hide that she was actually his daughter.
The ML basically explains that his personality split came about because he was suppressing everything, Luka was essentially his true feelings.
ML and the female lead WERE married legally, just without a ceremony. You don't need an actual wedding to be married just paperwork essentially.
