I was thinking about it that way too which is cute! but this is just me being too logical, it wasn't implemented well bc i went back after realizing he was suddenly tan and the second wedding flashback scene he is just as tan which didnt rlly match the timeline (￣∇￣")
I think it is about his help too, when he is shirtless hugging her in 82 you can see the shirt lines
