Honestly I am rooting for the ml's happiness. Like they had a contract relationship where they said they wouldn't pine for each other, love each other ect. But then she blamed him for not seeing her suffer when she never said anything. COMMUNICATION!!! Like girl no one will ever know if you never talk about it. Then she decided to run away and I respect that since it was a bad situation. Also the ml suffering yes he deserves it for the way he talked to her but you gotta remember he was under the impression that she cheated and had a baby with the other guy while he had realized he fell in love with her. Any ex that did that to them would feel bitter and angry. Even after he found out he made it right and took revenge and he is sacrificing everything for her just like she said. I honestly hope that when they get back together again they have that communication and trust built strong
I feel more complicated about it but still rooting for the ml right now. I think the ML should have looked after her more in their marriage because she was so young and desperate, he was too flippant about the rumors too. Either marry someone older and more stable or be considerate of her.
But he couldn't know everything, and they both agreed to a loveless contract marriage. She can't blame him for that, and then he can't really blame her for falling in love with another guy either. Be a little salty maybe, but nevertheless that was the agreement.
But right now the FL is denying her son a father that wants to be involved. It feels like she's afraid she will fall in love again if she's around him, so she pushes him away and blames him for everything. He forgave her for keeping their son a secret, which I can sort of understand in the beginning, but there were several points in the story where she should just have told him.
They wouldn't have to date to be good co-parents but it's what they both seems to want (if she would be honest with herself). So just talk it out and date. And go to therapy.
