The novel on here is only till chapter 163, and then you have to go to Novelight to finish it and you do have to pay. I paid $10 but it was worth it! In total it has 213 chapters. It ends at ch. 190ish and the rest of the chapters are extras that has the smut scenes detailed and is in the ml’s pov.

Me too. I like the novel way more. It's more detailed there in a good way. You'll get better understanding on both sides because sometimes they change the narrative from mc to ml pov. I like how the author show how seunghyuk comes to love yeonsoo to the point of obsession.

Can I get some spoilers? It seems like their dynamic is terrible so far

The mc keeps thinking the ml is capable of hurting him bc that’s what he did to the og mc but in reality he is so in love he would rather hurt himself first before letting anything hurt the mc. He’s been in love with him for years. The reason why the ml’s eyes look so emotionless/scary is bc the mc is what gives him light and makes him feel emotions. So when the mc rejects him he just feels despair. The ml went thru horrible abuse as a child, getting beat, starved, neglected, they wouldn’t even let him bathe. All bc they thought he was an illegitimate child (still unjustified) and he went thru that for about 10 yrs and that made him become closed off and not care about anything, except for the mc when he finally met him. The mc essentially saved him when he revealed to his dad that the ml is his biological son. By then it was too late though, the ml’s dad tried to be doting and loving but the ml went thru so much. He got abused from age 3-14. He trusted no one. And even his food would get poisoned and so he learned how to cook just to ensure his food is safe to eat. He was mean to the mc when they first met as kids bc being mean is all he knew based off of the interactions from his cousins and the way servants treated him. He was only late to the meeting bc his dad’s secretary intentionally sabotaged him. Just soooo many misunderstandings bc of the people plotting against the ml. His cousins are the main antagonists. We come to find out that in the og novel plotline the ml was so evil bc his dad never found out he was his biological son till 20 yrs later, and he got abused that whole time + poisoned and so his emotions and mana were super unstable causing him to be terrible. His cousins were also the reason why the og mc never manifested as an omega and stayed a beta (they poisoned him too) and they made the f-rank character become an omega artificially and poisoned him with a drug that made the ml become addicted to getting guided by him. Since our current mc had the knowledge of the novel, he changed the trajectory of all the terrible stuff that originally would have happened if he hadn’t intervened. But ofc a lot of his stuff wasn’t detailed when he read the novel but he comes to put two and two together as time goes on.

I forgot to say but we find out that the ml has been taking care of the mc all these years and has been SUPER devoted from the sidelines. He really wasn’t going to pursue him bc he saw himself as ‘unworthy’ of the mc until the mc seduced him that night of the party. (And yep the mc did seduce him lmao the ml did not lie)

sadly no, i tried looking on various sites. There still isn’t a kr raw site that’s up and running for novels, only for manhwas. They’re slowly getting updated after the kakao takedown a few months ago :( if you know of any that are up pls share. I’ve been trying to find a way to read my kr novels so many were only available thru the raw site. A lot of translation sites are making people pay (devastating)

What happened to the ML and the OG yeonsoo?

OG yeonsoo got poisoned by the cousins and that’s why he didn’t manifest as an omega and stayed a beta, plus he got misinformation from them about the ML and that’s why he acted like a spoiled asshole and was hated/considered a villain. The cousins had driven a wedge between them. The ML had a miserable ending too and didn’t ever feel actual love with the other F-rank guy, just kept him as a hostage bc he got addicted to his guiding since the cousins had gave him drugs to raise their compatibility

The only other one close to this that I’ve read is “the hunter wants to live quietly.” Has a manhwa and based on a novel as well. Both are good! The manhwa follows the novel really well and the art is great.

No, he’s not the OG yeonsoo. It is a novel transmigration. Something happens to the mc where he gets the chance to go back to the real world (his world) and he decides to stay bc in this new life he has a loving family and he loves the ml.
