I was also thinking the same, especially with Sua specifying that he's only "like family" to her. Kind of like, she's implying they're family not by blood but maybe by remarriage of their parents or possibly, Sua's family took him in as a kid or vice versa. That's probably why the two never crossed the line, given their "family" relations. They likely made that marriage pact as kids..
No, they are not related. The reason Sua wont date the FL's boyfriend but instead continues their inappropriate "Friendship". Is because she is traumatised from the death of a relative (i forgot if it was her parents or or parent) and has severe abandonment issues, she's a selfish weirdo like the FL's boyfriend she wants the best of both worlds. That's why she continues this "just friends" farce.
Its revealed because in her mind, if she were to "date" him then this mean she would most likely lose him in future if they broke up, so if they remain "friends" they will always be together. As for the FL's boyfriend the one he wants and desires is the friend, both him and Sua treat the FL like she's his pet than an actual girlfriend and show her no respect.
