He's such a useless person. I get that zigril is a tyrant but you... When I first read this I thought he'd become a powerbottom..now he's just taking it left and right. Doesn't communicate, constantly wants to run(regardless of its impossibility) and now saying his kid resembles zigril? Mf this is literally the first chapter I've seen you even talk to the kid. Everytime in the past seasons he'd seen him he'd turned sour. Like father like son..well yeah, if he's the one raising him and when the kid says something like, should I kill her, u just look at him weird and talk to yourself!!! Educate your kid!

I agree with the educate your kid part but you need to know he is not there because he wants to, he is still very much trapped there. He doesn't even like zigril.
I don't like the grandma but at some point they gotta move on. I mean, it been what? 16 years? He's probably at peace with what happened to him. Plus he's in such a good relationship he doesn't need to feel insecure like back then
I mean, i'd think it'd be hard to move on from your mom abandoning you with your abusive father. I think it's possible to Hye-sung to make peace with it, but it doesn't make sense that the narrative is pushing him to a path where his mother is redeemed, forgiven and given grace after all she's done.
And if i were him in this situation and my most beloved son and husband were caring for the woman who abandoned me, bro i'd fucking run for the hills or worse.
