Honestly same lol, I was also pissed when I got to that part cuz Cael is the actual victim here so wdym she claimed that she did this all for him and then get mad at him when he's actually trying to move on?? And it is framed as if Cael is in the wrong for not being appreciative enough to Hestia's effort

If you read further though, you'll understand more where she's coming from. Though I wished the author would explore Hestia's psyche and background (before transmigration) more :')

As a vengeful btch myself, I kinda understand her reasoning because imagine waking up in a different world, forced to live as an extra without purpose to the world. It's the story that you love so much with the favorite character that you love so much. You don't know your purpose so you just watch their lives like a soapopera behind the scenes. You spend all your money thinking it's a fictional world and prolly got back to your world once you reach the end. The story unfolds until you reach the after ending when your favorite character gets betrayed by the ppl he was closest to. Later you learn he has severe depression and suicidal tendencies. You finally find him and get a chance to confess your feelings only to see his lifeless corpse in your house. You'd blame yourself for leaving a suicidal person for a moment that resulted in that incident. You break down and hope to come back to your own world but you're stuck and forced to live in that place. Your beloved inspiration was gone, you're broke, you got sick, and you're dying. For a year, you've been forced to live lifelessly, only to find out the crown prince and the saintess are crumbling down, the very reason why your beloved gave up his life to. You repent your numbered days in the temple begging god to give Cael's back. Then you die and you have to do it all over again. You have your purpose and goal to make them pay for what they did to Cael. You went through all that for a guy who later claimed to love you. He knew your goal from the very beginning, he knew you worked hard for it like a machine nonstop, just for him to make you back out from nailing the final piece. I’d be crashed out too.

Hestia was cleary have PTSD and severe anxiety from years of grief she had been dealing with. She lived on that world twice without knowing her true purpose. She's been showing red flag signs bcs she wasnt healed. She believes that the world is fictional, she has detached herself from it. She didn't even know if she could go back to her world so she just clung to her goal like it was her life's purpose. Til she became too obsessed with revenge. She'd been working nonstop like a ball rolling, then he tells you later on, I don't want you to do it anymore... Are you out of your mind??? I would literally be repulsive and lose it too.

Don't get me wrong, i understand Cael's reason too. But I think he should at least consider Hestia's feelings before he said that. I mean he knew that she was showing depressive symptoms bcs he clearly saw his past self in her, so she's clearly sensitive when it comes to that topic... If i may say so, the very thing he could do is tackle it sensitively to her bcs it was her trigger.

Anyway, I'm sorry I blabbled too much lol. This is just my opinion. But i understand your perspective too, so i hope you dont mind. (=・ω・=)

Well this part is different from novel... In novel though half heartedly but he's except cael's request.. and didn't tried to commit suicide.


I also think that the novel is more reasonable in this aspect.... Afterall it was cael they wronged. And if he wanted to forgive them then u not?
