Remember? CCG destroy their cafe which they regards as their home. Yes. They hate Aogiri. But, it's hard to imagine that they come precisely just for helping CCG. Destroying Aogiri while CCG is cleaning them is easier than doing it by themselves. So, the main goal is to destroy the remaining Aogiri and do whatever the plan with that freaky ghoul doctor. CCG seems to forget that most of Aogiri is gone that day. That's why they can execute this operation successfully.
Personally, I think this whole CCG vs Aogiri operation in that island is just a distraction. The purpose is to divided CCG and the investigator power. The original plan is to breach Cochlea, release all the remaining captive ghouls, awaken the true one eyed king (Kaneki), kill Arima, & messed up the Washuu family. For the clowns, the purpose probably only one, to take over Washuu family. Eto along with the clowns probably already know about the secret that Washuu is actually a ghoul family. Ignorant can be a bliss. The investigators just don't know that their enemy is within themselves, their own leader.
Next, what will our One Eyed King Kaneki will do? Actually, I don't think that Kaneki ever claimed himself as One Eyed King, it is us, reader, Eto, and probably Arima. But, Matsuri said that Kaneki claimed himself as the One Eyed King? He purposely set up Kaneki as the bad guy and the ultimate enemy. Preventing him along with other true investigator who left to come back to CCG and proceed to kill all of them in the name of eliminating Ghoul. Ghoul supposed to be CCG enemy after all.
Really, Tokyo Ghoul isn't about human vs Ghoul anymore. We know that within human there are some bad crops. Ghouls have their own share of good crops too. It's about what human and Ghoul do or their action along with the consequences and the repercussion. Whether you're human or ghoul doesn't matter, what you do makes you who you are. Every character somehow becomes grey in Tokyo Ghoul somehow.

If not for the fact that her men is so despicable and mean to Zeno, I might like her quite a bit. She looks cool. She is a courageous warrior and hell bent on protecting her kingdom by attacking her enemy first. Well, I don't really care if her enemy isn't Kouka or the notorious So Won. As much as I dislike So Won, I have to admit that he's a wise and resourceful leader. He also is a great tactician. Princess Kouren might just sign on his country own doom fall.
Attacking a kingdom as big as Kouka require more than a great speeches in front of hundreds people whom more than half of them is elders and children. Please, how desperate your country is if a child has to take arms in protecting his/her country. Yes. This happen in real life too. I know. But, Does Princess Kouren realize the state of her own country? Does she realize that she could just sign the death sentence of the many children soldier whom went to war for her cause? A losing war too, probably.
The romance of Hak and Yona seems far away, or maybe the princess Kouren will fall in love with Hak or So won.

I can't too. I rather she end up with So Won than Hak. Good Combo. But, I don't think either So Won or Hak has any interest in marrying anyone much else Princess Kouren right now. So Won probably will marry for political reason. But Hak? Truthfully I prefer him with Yona. Because he's the only person that can be trusted to protect Yona till the end. Other than Zeno of course or probably other dragons. For obvious reason.
But it will be interesting to see Yona get jealous over Hak or So won, don't you want to see too?

Maybe if that accident never happen, I'll like her more. Kouren is a great and likeable Princess at the first impression.

Why did I have a sudden bad feeling about this whole Yona going back to meet So Won. Not only because I dislike So Won being around Yona, but also because I'm afraid that So Won will take away Hak. Somehow, So Won and Hak seems to share a fate. No matter how far they are from each other, there are always things that would bring them together. It probably is impossible for Hak to leave Yona. But if it's for the benefit of the country and peoples, Yona probably will ask Hak to be beside So Won. Yona just start to realize her love for Hak. I hope fate doesn't rip them apart so soon.

Now that i read the recent chapter, I just realized that Seidou is in crisis!!!
They have plenty of quality batter and catcher in the first year line up but they have no one with a great pitching ability. At least as great as Kawakami senpai.
This is rather bad. Eijun will be in his third year next season after Miyuki out of high school. What Seidou gonna do? Especially after Kawakami is gone. They will need a great pitcher to fill Kawakami place if they want to continue their relay pitcher strategy.
Or maybe that's why the coach Boss is so hell bent on making Furuya the best pitcher.
Anyway, Zeno seems to recover rather fast compared to the other dragon. I think just the presence of King Hiryuu aka Yona is enough to regenerate him. Truly interesting. But still so cute seeing him slowly regenerate and calm down in Yona arms.

In this chapter, I realized that one person can make such a different. Hinata bright and positive nature just cheer Kageyama up. His positive nature also mellowed Kageyama arrogant and harsh nature. If Hinata didn't say about tuning out Kageyama advice or being a king is actually cool, Kageyama will once again being exiled by his teammate.
Kageyama ~ Did you realize how lucky you are to have such a good comrade like Hinata?
I really ship this two. They are soulmate and belong to one another. Saying they're brothers will be a bit too much but they have great chemistry together so I think they're comrades.

Asada x Okumura. What a promising battery. Although, Asada is a bit wimpy and cowardly. I don't think that he's that bad. Furthermore, he's a southpaw. Nice.
Yuki Kouhei. He has Eijun strong will and strong tenacity. Cheering everyone including himself when it's bad. This kind of pitcher worthy enough as an ace because of that. Coach Ochiai actually compliment Yuki too. What a change in attitude. He used to be all about skill and result. The last lost teach him that mental tenacity is an important factor in a pitcher and in winning too.
Nabe -> this boy has a talent for coaching. I wonder if he ever consider going to a sport academy to become a coach instead. He's smart too. He'll become invaluable staff. I said this seriously because a team can't win without a good coach and a good staff too.
Finally, Eijun is really worried for Asada. Truthfully, what he said about Asada eating comes from his inner heart voice. Eijun knows well how it feel to be neglected and an underdog in Seidou. He also see many of his teammates talent including Chris senpai being wasted off court. He probably doesn't want Asada to suffer that despite Asada good talent. How good Asada is? We'll see. Asada reminds me of Ookiku Furikabute Ren Mihashi. But, Ren talent is his great control while Asada sounds like a southpaw. I'm looking forward to see how good Asada and Okumura are.
