LOL. I think it’s supposed to be that “mornings” are toujou’s weakness. Like he is a model student in every way, but he has a really hard time waking up and is super grumpy in the morning. Hence the MC saying “If you pay attention on your morning walk, you’d notice.” (That toujou’s persona is more strained than usual)

heh, you're likely right. i don't think this manga would deal with a heavy topic like depression, and the "cool laid-back guy who's actually quite grumpy when he wakes up in the morning" *is* a popular trope, so i think that makes more sense with this manga.
heterosexual jumpscare in the last chapter. this ended wayyyy too fast, incredibly abrupt. i wouldn't recommend reading this unless you're really bored.
