The only way two gay men can find happiness is in the sterile apocalyptic end of the world?! Come on -- this is crap psychobabble. It's a shame because the artwork is beautiful and the characters could have been worthwhile. But I guess if one is writing a tragedy and calling it something else, criticism is unavoidable.

This story is an excuse for the author to say things like "dirty fag," while ostensibly telling a story about gay love. The plot is sad and oddly homophobic: forcing a straight youth to become gay. It plays on the supposed homosexual panic in every straight guy for its humor.
