nope. the artist is the one who was drawing the manhwa, and the author is the one from the novel from which it was being adapted

I started drawing by tracing off stock photos and the art VERY much strikes me as someone simply tracing over real life photos and then apply their own 'flavour' of features here and there.
Your comment really makes me sure that the artist is likely doing exactly that, ALL THE TIME.
