this one of the few straight slowburn romances I read that would do so well with one or two below the neck scenes…
Don’t get me wrong, the new art style looks great! Especially regarding the other characters & it’s also not extremely dissimilar thankfully to the old one in general, but it does not do Dan justice :’>
It doesn’t really manage to get his expressions and freaky vibes across as well as the art style before + his eyes are too ‘alive’ #－.－) it puts me off every time he appears ughhh
I can’t help it, it’s just my brain going “Dan looks wrong” and it bothers me so much ahhhh

Also like idgaf about the grape scene (I think I’m pretty desensitised by how often that type of stuff happens in BLs… sob…) but it’s literally brushed off in 5 seconds?? like, I’d be traumatized after that a lil more (￣∇￣") also totally unnecessary and weird to add a grape scene when it wasn’t part of the novel either, according to comments, that really took me out rn hahahsh

When Jaewon (MC) rejected him 2nd ML tried to kill him by choking him. Like if I can't have you, no one can type of sht. Also, 2nd ML didn't see Jaewon as Jaewon, he couldn't moved on from "hyung" that who died and kept seeing MC as someone else when MC corrected him saying "my name is Jaewon" the 2nd ML said "you don't need a name, you just need to be hyung"
So, this "hyung" is the MC's older brother? Did the ML and sliver hair guy have a thing with the "hyung"?
Nope, they're not blood related. This "hyung" is called Jeosung? or something he just basically looks exactly like our Jaewon (mc).
And--NO ML doesn't like him romantically he just respect him as his tutor/teacher while 2ND ML has feelings for him. They call him "hyung" coz basically it's what they call older guys from korea. Hyung or Jeosung whatever his name has a serious illness and ML did not kill him, 2ND ML just think he killed him coz ML didn't even try or persuade "hyung" to get treatment.
2ND ML is fixated on Jaewon coz he looks like "hyung" basically he just see Jaewon as replacement/substitute and if you noticed 2ND ML doesn't really call him his real name and only "hyung".
Jaewon even said "my name is jaewon, not hyung" which 2nd ML replies "you don't need a name, you just need to be hyung"

Not saying the new art style isn’t gorgeous! I‘ve seen extremely worse artist changes but… the whole thing was just so vibrant colored and now it’s somehow all pastel & sepia hues?? as someone else said, it all looks watered down
also I think Ceres‘ face doesn’t look as unique and fitting in the new style and his purple eyes look brown in a many shots but maybe that’s just because of the upload quality
