yeah that’s why I was questioning it I saw a lot of people like do the same thing or put everything into already read
I do the same thing with adding completed manga’s to my ‘already read’ since this way I can easily see if a ongoing manga has been completed in my ‘reading’ list. ^^

Maybe because they "already read" it up to the latest chapter?? Meh whatever haha i don't really care about how they do their own accounts. But for me, personally, I want to separate on going and completed mangas so that it will be easier for me to spot ongoing works, instead of scrolling through thousand of mangas

I do it if the manga is really bad, like a sign of "yeah, I've seen enough of this" lol
I just catalogue my reading lists in Anime Planet, if it’s ongoing but I didn’t like it or it’s just something I don’t want to read period, I put it in “dropped”, and others that I’m reading, I can mark the chapters. And if it’s ongoing and I’m just busy reading something else I mark it as “stalled”. I find it’s way better to clearly identify what I’m reading or what I dropped, from what I’ve already read and it’s recommendations.
