Honestly I've re-read it soooo many times before it finished. I read the novel and then kept coming back here every time it popped up on main to read it from the beginning to where it was at the moment. Sure, it wasn't perfect but it's gotta be one of my favorites.
I like Penelope, how headstrong and smart she is. Sure, she has her weaknesses but she always pushes through, even tho both her lives are honestly full of crap. And the outfits in this one are soooo pretty.
It's fun that this isekai is a little bit different since she ends up in a game a not a novel like it often happens. The mechanics are interesting and it's so good to find along the way that there always was a deeper story in the background than just "romance a pretty man".
I don't mind the ending, I like it. Sure I would love to see a little bit more of them together not struggling to stay alive, but it's nice nonetheless. And gotta say I was super glad the he ended up as the main ML since I liked him from the very start. Thay have a really good dynamic and I just enjoyed every panel of them together.

I gotta be honest, I went in with a LOT of scepticism. Knew it was gonna be a smutty smut and didn't expect much, but it's actually a really good story. The plot is interesting, and every development was good. I really like the dynamics between the main characters and they have a lot of cute moments (between sucking and pounding). Just wish there was less SA depicted tbh... But overall a good read, I enjoyed it

It's honestly a shame it went the way it did. It was to be expected but maaaan why they always gotta go with crazy MLs. I really liked their relationship at the beginning, the touching seemed so natural and it felt honestly cute. It's a nice change of peace when the uke teaches seme about kissing and all that. (also Gunwo's size is kinda ridiculous like those old yaoi mangas with really wrecked proportions)

Can't really make up my mind about Gunwo yet, seems like there is more to know about his circumstances and past. He's both brutal and childishly naïve (which I find kind of endearing) but ugh why we gotta go with pretty much rape at this point since teach doesn't want this relationship anymore. I fully expect teach will get abused and God knows what else by the Hounds and it going to really put a rift in the village if something happens to their scouts... Also I fully thought teach was the one who killed his own father because of his flashbacks and violent tendencies after his nightmares

I get people who hate on FL cuz I also get annoyed that she has so few moments when she's actually a likeable badass acting like the real princess but consider this - she lost EVERYONE who cared for her in the span of few years, for a long time the only person somewhat on her side has been her brother king who in reality can't do much against his mother. She's been living in a real hellhole rejected, laughed at and unwanted at every step. Not to mention now her fucking family she missed for YEARS is suddenly fine and dandy AND HATES HER. Like- everything is in shambles. She feels she has no one, and the MLs may be here just for the curse ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
On another note - I feel like the priest knowing about her mother and not telling her has a whole lot different weight than Amand not telling her for SO MUCH DAMN TIME when he acts as he's ready to do everything for her and then more. The priest is in a way an outsider in all of this (and away from her for significant amount of time) but Almand is almost always near her and had sooooo many opportunities to ease her suffering which he witnessed time upon time. (Yes, I'm a priest apologists cuz he's my fave even if he's kinda... iffy at times)
Also about her curse - it can be a long shot since nothing really shows such interest in sleeping with FL BUT I find her "brother" king reaaaaaly sus, since he obviously has some feelings for her.
Anyway she better wake up with a new killer mindset, reject her family and take revenge not for her bitch mom but for HERSELF cuz she fucking deserves it (▰˘◡˘▰)
