i agree! i appreciate that they are now helping each other to the best if their ability, but some chapters ago, he learned of her illness and still lead her on despite knowing how it negatively affected her health. i just felt that it was such a damaging thing to do just because of your own selfishness, but i rest my case

he kind of did if you go and look back at the chapters; he knew how she felt and how she was dealing with it. just because he wanted to date her doesn’t mean he didn’t hurt her in the process.. he kept giving her false hope throughout the time she was trying to earn points and disguised it as selflessness. he just led her on and then pulled away constantly even when he knew of her mental state and dependency, which i thought was really unfair. i do understand that he was dealing with his ed and own issues, but is it really okay to do all that to her when he knew what issues she was dealing with?
Well he has to give it some thought, cause she was a “secret slut” of course he didn’t have all the details about her not actually liking sex and stuff at the beginning. I would give it time before dating someone that is called a “secret slut” wouldn’t you? Cause that gives me the expression that like, okay she can be manipulative, a liar, and be sleeping around/ cheating on multiple men.
i understand that, but i just felt that it was unnecessary to play with her feelings even after seeing how desperately she wanted it (as did he, considering he had basically already fallen for her), and especially after he learned of her past trauma. trust is the foundation of a good relationship and of course they don’t have to date right away, but he didn’t need to drag it out and give her false hopes despite reciprocating her feelings, either. both characters have their flaws i suppose. thanks for replying!
