tj is standing in a certain place which helps him to have the power to protect themselves, if he leaves people will come after them and even ian knew the fact that he could still be safe in his “normal life” until now is bc tj was always keeping their enemies away
that’s entirely untrue, ian was still in constant danger even with tj in control of the gang while ian was still fighting back alone to not be killed and raped…
