I’m glad I read this over an extended leave. It was an amazing read that I couldn’t put it down! I absolutely love the characters – though admittedly there were a lot of times I grabbed my hair in frustration at the emperor BUT turns out he’s one of the best characters in the manhwa’s I’ve read thus far. My absolute favorite in this is definitely Lili!

Concept, plot, twists, ending — all amazing. If I may nitpick… I wish I’d seen more of Sunshine and Yona in their new life.

The story finally started at around chapter 100. Cant believe i wasted time on this

I’m now wondering if at this point, everything the author does is just to rile us up. 100% dickhead of a seme, weakass bitch of an uke, 10-day release, slow fucking progression in each release. God, if the plan is to frustrate us then it’s certainly working.

I love this so much but there are gaping holes in the story

— I wished there was more of the sibling relationship shown. I would have assumed they’d bonded more since Hyejin is now alive. FL decided chapters ago not to be consumed by the dead sis but we didn’t see much effort on her part to bond with her. Did she also sent out stuff to Hyejin like what Hyejin did to her in the 1st life? Did she also visit her in their basement apartment?? She didn’t want to go home and roamed around the streets on weekends, so why didn’t she contact Hyejin to hang out??

— Seontae appears to have an affection with Hyejin in the 1st life, and even in the 2nd life Hyejin was smitten with him, so why not let them meet in the 2nd life? With the change in Seontae, it wouldn’t hurt for them to meet.

— I didn’t get to read comments on this one: The gangster uncle got stabbed way before Iho was born. So what’s with his warning? It doesn’t make sense timeline wise.

And any theories on why FL died in a car accident in ML’s past life?

I hope they don’t end up together and Jaekyung loses his titles. That’s the only acceptable ending for me.

Right now, this is the only BL manhwa that’s pacing me. You know, when you’ve read a lot of manhwas and you just scroll too fast (sometimes mindlessly)? This manhwa has the opposite effect. I like taking in each scene and soaking in the art and the story itself.
