Honestly, I'm not too far into the story yet, but from what I've seen, I think the true villain of the story is the brother (intentionally or not)
Like, isn't her obsession with money just a trauma response to her brother's financial abuse? I mean, they can play it for laughs, sure, but that's how I'm seeing it. It seems to come from a place of desperation, not greed.

Does seems like a no brainer plot to me
It's definitely extremely clichey and uh not very clever in executing the clichés, with tons of plot holes. The manhwa seems to be made by a person so it's hard to tell ai from just a bad writer, but I think ai is likely
I have checked that same forum and only ONE person has said that. The rest under them have just went along with it, without checking the story out for themself. They even said “there’s no way to confirm it’s AI” themself, so they admitted they are only assuming because they can’t believe a new writer can be bad at writing smh. They even continued that saying that the only way someone could really know if it’s AI is if the person has used AI often or consumed AI content often. So either this reviewer implied THEY have used AI often enough to recognize it OR they are not knowledgeable enough to really know if it’s AI. In conclusion: there was no proof of that and the reviewer admitted it was just their own assumption. (It also doesn’t help that the only person who shared a tiny spoiler only talked about the story negatively, so their review is already biased enough)
Another commenter said they checked out the authors previous works and stated that the author’s writing style is consistent.

Anyways, I will say ever since people learned about AI, too many people have jumped the hype train and have become paranoid calling everything they can’t comprehend AI.
Personally I have read several manhwa/manha/manhua novels including from amateur writers from fanfiction sites. There’s plenty of novels that have had inconsistencies, plot holes, repetitiveness, etc. Not everyone is a great writer especially when they just started. Heck there’s slop fanfictions that even got approved to be turned into movies. It’s not insane to think that an inconsistent plot is the result of a poor amateur writer.

Idk if this is a big spoiler or not and I can't remember if it was to break the curse or simply relieve ML from suffering but she basically needed to have his kid to go through with that. But usually the mothers don't live long because of the curse (?) so ML didn't want to do that. So yeah

Why does it bother me so much that her father never learns of the previous timeline? Like, that is literally my only hangup with this story and why it's not one of my favorites. I just really REALLY want him to know the full effect of what he did. The only reason it didn't happen in this timeline is because of Athy's efforts to survive. But that responsibility was never supposed to be put on her in the first place, and he needs to know that.
He apolologizes, sure, and that's nice and all, but I feel he really needs to understand what it is he is apologizing for and he can't do that unless he has at least an inkling of the past, even if only through dreams or vague feelings. It bothers me enough to put a sour feeling over the entire story.
Appearently he does gain all his memories from the previous timeline in the novel when he gets healed by the world tree (according to spoilers, haven't read it yet) So I don't get why that can't be included here.
I just feel he is getting off too scot free for all the pain and damage he has caused his own daughter, and I dunno... I just feel so bad for her man (Though admittedly I might be projecting)
"Worried, my foot... He even prioritizes war over my birthday." Does an experienced soldier/knight not know how serious war is? Of course her dad will prioritize war over family birthdays, a war is a very serious thing. And yes it sucks, but wars always suck, for everything and everyone involved. I feel the character should definitely know that by now. O.o
Yuppp like I think author tried to do the overworked father, but I don't think war is the same thing as work You can't just go all the way to your home just because your daughter has a birthday especially if you are someone high in command. Her reasoning is that of a child not retired knight??

uhhh... so did they have that entire conversation in front of the child? Like, where did he go? That was by no means a child friendly conversation. I don't know how, but in the span of 5 minutes they managed to talk about rape, sex with a dog, killing someone, and kidnapping and beating someone up. I seriously hope the kid was not there to hear it XD
In the last chapter the bodyguard took the kid away

Oh if you just know that Pete was actually there in the novel while Chase and Josh talked about all of that but he's sleeping throughout it, he just gets woken up by Chase cursing and second time getting sandwiched between Chase and Josh when they were kissing
