It's a "eat the rich" type of hatred if that makes sense like the type of feeling people get from seeing "I get jobs and money because my father is rich, not because I have actual talent" types of people. But in context of some type of war situation and all he gets is "I'm grieving their sacrifice" with a sunny smile and no further thought after everyone he knows died for her to keep her lifestyle.
She's a political nempho baby benefiting from A war she literally never even thought about until it affected her. No wonder they were over thrown in a revolt, but this is a hard plot for a romance. I wish this was handled better because it is a interesting plot but the characters are flat
I agree, this type of plot is very heavy when it comes to romance. It could’ve been handled differently specifically when it comes down to the problem that the Ml has with the FL, she’s a nepo baby. Hopefully we see some changes in the characters development.
