Doesn't have some forced romantic subplot but that almost makes the mc even more of a one dimensional old master troupe except he's the main character not an exposition dump or one line cameo than if there was. There is an argument for a phineas and ferb style flat mc and dimensional cast except everything is dimensional and almost completely stagnat so it doesn't work.
