I forgot to tell you guys that it's in Tagalog but here's the synopsis of the movie
The film follows a daughter growing up in a home that appears perfect to the outside world but is actually filled with abuse and fear. Her father is a respected public figure in the community, but behind closed doors, he is violent and controlling toward his wife and children.
Through fragmented childhood memories—especially of her younger sister Lia, who represents innocence and loss—the daughter slowly becomes aware of the truth about their household. The emotional and physical abuse worsens over time, deeply affecting both the mother and children while they are forced to stay silent.
As tensions reach a breaking point, the daughter discovers the truth about her identity and the extent of the abuse. This leads her to finally seek help, filing a VAWC case with the support of her best friend. Despite her father’s attempt to assert power and intimidation, legal protection is enforced, and he is arrested.
In the aftermath, the mother and daughter begin to find healing. They visit Lia’s grave, reflecting on loss, trauma, and survival. The story ends with a quiet but powerful sense of liberation as the cycle of abuse is finally broken, and they choose to move forward together.
