Yeah, I mean some parts of it is a bit confusing (although I was half-sleep through the major parts) there’s some pretty bad sexual assault tho so that’s a TW it has its sweet moments with the actual ML (the ml didn’t SA) and there’s some cruelty to the mc but overall it’s pretty interesting if you like medieval themed yaoi or like mystery.

From memory- Not a lot happens immediately after but Zigril is big sad and Kay is confused. It’s quite awkward and what not. I lowkey can’t remember much about what happens after. The 2nd novel is called the mirror of targo if you wanna find it. Basically Kay slowly succumbing to Zigril haha
by Zigril being big sad, does it mean he wasn't actively seeking out Kay and being clingy after this event? I really wanna know how he broke Kay's defenses down.
Again, I don’t remember much but I think he’s a bit avoidant after this. At some point in the 2nd novel Kay sees visions of Zigril’s potential death and realises that even though Zigril sucks, he loves him and doesn’t want him to die despite his initial thoughts
