This was great story. The characters were lovable, the art is beautiful, and it doesn't feel rushed.
~aside from the age gap w/c I'll choose to ignore
It’s been a while since I read it but I know it was like over 10 years. I think it might have been like 17 years or something. He a very young adult or barely adult when she is sent to him as a child bride in what is a contract marriage. She is a bargaining chip for power. I think what people need to realize when reading these types of stories: it’s historical-ish romance. In our history large age gap marriages for buisness/contract marriages around the time period this is based in WOULD HAVE BEEN COMMONPLACE. In fact many girls were married off before they were 15 or around there. In part because most people died after hitting 30/40 years old. You don’t have to like it or wish for it upon yourself or others because it would NOT be ok in our MODERN society, I will say because she was a literal child bride when she was sent to him the story did a really good job at setting the story up so it took years and her own consent and choice for them to actually start anything. But yeah the age gap while unsavory by our standards would have been very common here and a big theme of this story is actually by the end them saying that these types of contractual marriages fade out because of the main characters. Her being a child bride is never depicted as a positive from what I recall.

I really like the fl and art style... but it's just the plot is lacking, and I don't like the ml.. I much rather have Rafaelo as the ml, heck even the red-haired guy will do
