i lowkey hate every character other than the girl w the brown bob.. both leads suck. the fl is so damn tactless it’s pissing me off. she sitting there listening to a story about her supposed friend getting harassed and blackmailed to date someone bc she was trying her hardest to be kind to him and instead of immediately going “wow that’s awful how can i help her get through this?” she’s immediately like “wow i just learned something new about *insert mls name i can’t be bothered to remember*s past! how will he react when he hears about this? i wonder if he’ll be upset” ???WHO GAF and the ml he knew she didn’t want to tell him about what was going on bc of his reaction the last time and instead of making her feel safe enough to share that type of stuff with him or just letting the fl handle it, he listens in on their conversation. i doubt anyone will agree with me but i just had to get that off my chest
Nah I agree. That's so gross to focus on the dude's feelings when the girl she's talking to says she feels unsafe.
I remember that happening to me when I opened up to some girls about me being stalked by a guy but one of the girls there was friends with him and she rolled her eyes and basically tuned me out the whole time. And then just fake smiled at me afterwards. Like, I know he's your friend, but I wasn't even talking sht about him, it wasn't a gossip session, I was saying how I felt scared around him and his behavior.

Are you okay now? Please report him if he is still not jailed. Stalking is fucking criminal and cut those fake friends who are pick me handmaindens off! Now! They are the kinds of girls who would side with male celebrities when rumours about their sexual harassment and assaults. Cut them off. And her incel friend has harassed multiple girls. I am so sorry that you're going through that

Thank you, it's okay now. It was in college a few years ago. Among the three girls I opened up to, it was just that one girl. I guess she just didn't believe her male friend was doing anything wrong, like I'm just being "overdramatic". As if I don't know the difference between meeting someone coincidentally in places versus being followed around on purpose. And him guilt tripping me for not responding to his "confession" (which to me, slowly became a threat than affection). If this is how he acts before he even gets a response, how can I possibly answer him now that I'm scared of his reaction??
(No need to read the rest below if you want, haha I got sidetracked yapping. Anyway, thank you again).
But the other two girls were nice and shared their experiences to comfort me. For one story, the girl does say it's more of a funny story compared to what was currently happening to me. When she was younger, a guy classmate at school apparently got the radio DJ to shoutout his confession for her, so they all go outside with the radio and put it on for everyone to hear, but it was early morning that day and she felt groggy not really knowing what was going on or what the fuss was about at the time. So, when the DJ finally made the shoutout, the guy classmate was expecting a response from her but she didn't really understand so she just stood there silent.
Seeing as how this was a failed confession, the guy just started violently punching a tree next to him, a friend of his just patted him on the back to calm him down, and the girl was taken aback by his reaction. She looks back on it now and laughs, saying that at least he took it out on the tree.
Then the other girl of the two, also shared a story, one time she was publicly pressured to sing a SOLO happy birthday ON STAGE for a guy classmate who openly had a one-sided crush on her. They were pushing her to the platform telling her to sing for him (not to mention his mother was a teacher there also asking her to sing). It seems innocent enough to just sing happy birthday for him, but to be pressured (forced) to perform on stage, by herself, in front of everybody like that, including his mom who had authority, made her so uncomfortable that even though she was saying no, everyone kept pressuring her to do it for the guy since it was his birthday, like he's the only one they were being considerate of, not her or how she felt in all this.
Fr though. I hate them all especially the FL because she ain't a girls girl. She probably hanging out with her because she's taking advantage of her, the only thing closest for her to experience having a friend, she can also be near her crush by being close to her. But entirely she ain't really caring for her "friend" or trying to know her on a deeper level. Poor girl is surrounded by weirdos.

I read your entire comment. I am so glad that you are safe, and it doesn't make it less traumatizing. For you and those 2 girls who were victims of sexism and almost ended with abusive incels if they dated them or if they were alone with them.. He punched a tree, but if she was near or alone with him, he would have punched her. Today is the tree, tomorrow is the arm, and next week is the entire body. WTF! And they wonder why we choose the bear over them. You were not overdramatic; people who use this word are gaslighting you to put up and accept abuse. DUCK THEM

Trueee. And honestly, it's sad that there's still some girls in the world that act like the FL in this manhwa and the girl I opened up to. They should be more concerned about the safety of the person being affected by the guy's actions rather than just thinking of the guy's feelings. Anyways, thank you for your concern. Hope you're also safe as well, and never have to encounter guys like those in real life

You know the chapter end and they were still in the middle of their conversation?
