This is the kind of manga/series that ll come into life very rarely. Everyone has a backstory, everyone has their own character and everyone is dealing with life in their own ways. I love how complex they are and when you first start reading you're like "omg i hate mika why's she doing that?!" After few chapters you notice you're also like her cuz, why did i just judge her from just 1 line? Nao-chan possibly could be the best character too. She dealt with her family, started a whole new life in a big city and made people accept her. And even after all that she didnt refuse to take care of Mitsumi. Shes an icon fr. As for Shima... he's gotta be my favourite. I just love self sabotage characters and how complex they are. I love how he's noticing himself and trying to do better. But what i love the most is that he never sees himself worthy of anything. His situation with his mother reminds me of me and my mother a lot. He became one of my comfort characters after the last chapters. I hope the author gets what they deserve for creating such a masterpiece. Its 2am btw.
