I was tearing up at Uyun describing how well suited they are for one another, it was so sweet, beautiful, & romantic
And then BAM !
dying at the sex with Jinhyeong still taped up
His methods are wild, but they work! He's making a fool of himself to save his loved one
That's so scary, I can’t imagine how terrible a little kid would feel being trapped in a creepy space all alone
I could just stare at the characters for dayss
Luckily the story is just as good as the art, we're being fed so well
Ladies and Gentlemen.. this manhwa is PROOF that it is indeed possible to have a fully fleshed out story- with romance, conflict, & tension- that gives you butterflies.. that'll make you scream... that'll make you sad.. that'll make you laugh... & that'll make you swoon!
You feel everything
It's proof that the crazies who rely on shock value like coercion and rape to push their "romances" along are nothing but immature fetishizers who shouldn't even consider themselves writers!
I'm so serious, the conflict in this story lies within the MC's inner struggle and self worth, taboo relationship with his brother (no blood relation), and pressures of trying to live how he believes he's expected to.
It was genuinely good writing that made me want to pull my hair out or even sob at times.. but then it'd turn around and make me smile or blush or giggle
And do you know why? (THIS REASON IS THE BIG ONE FOLKS!!)
For the 1st time in my whole career of being a consumer of romance stories (manhwas, mangas, movies, books, shows, hell even fanfics...) for the first time I was able to witness the Main Characters actually C O M M U N I C A T E with their significant others.. Nope not just right before the end after the conflict already happened just so we could wrap up the story and get to the 'Happy Ever After'.... no they COMMUNICATED THROUGHOUT THE STORY..
I genuinely can't get over it, it was so satisfying. I didn’t think it was possible if I'm being honest, I thought if couples in stories just solved their problems as they came, then the tension would go away and the story would be a little boring..... I've never been so happy to be proven wrong
To make matters worse, they had the audacity to have a side couple just as intriguing as the main... AND THE AUDACITY TO HAVE PRETTY ART AND CHARACTER DESIGN??
I consumed this in 3 days.. I just finished the side stories and I want more .. not even just more of this story.. — I need to read anything on this level It was just that good.
