The climax of such dogblood story always goes with the redeemed part. Hope the author won't let us disappoint to witness dog gong suffering. All we need is character development. One more, shou should be better discard his white lotus alike personality. Actually, he is neither god nor Buddha nor Saint, to be able to bear and forgive all others' mischievous deeds.
ive read the novel up to a certain point past this and spoiler, the ml IN MY OPINION doesn't have a strong enough redemption, like you know u really wanna see them grovel and regret???? well the punishment doesn't fit the crime. He treats the mc kinder but that's it, and I'm like hello author!!! the mc had to DIE just to get his love returned??? at that point just throw away the whole man, sorry I'm ranting on your comment lol
