Sangmin met her at a very low point in her life and she found comfort in his presence. It eventually turned to attachment, that's why she's unable to leave. Whenever she does think about leaving, Sangmin probably manipulates her. He excels at saying the right things and making the right expressions. Not to mention his deteriorating mental health. It only guilt trips yeonhee into staying with him so he doesn't suffer alone. Yes, it's not logical. But that is the kind of mindset that develops when you're with a manipulative partner, you start feeling responsible for them. Stop blaming her what the fuck. It's seriously disturbing, and this is coming from someone who had a manipulative partner and got guilt tripped into staying with him. This is an abusive relationship.

He’s grooming her, making her unable to leave. Additionally, he has schizophrenia and has been untreated for so long. We don’t know how long he has been experiencing those episodes (maybe during his highschool years). I hate him so much but I really cannot blame him due to his upbringing. People with schizo are difficult but episodes are treatable through medication and therapy. Huhuhu if only he accepts help and get treated . I also see a chance of psychopath in his acting though I really don’t know for sure since I’m not a licensed psychologist .
