* realizing that I have a similar relationship with my sibling, just not sexual thankfully. they've been depending on my emotionally since I was a child and I've been living with them for a while. Its been exhausting and I've just been in denial or thinking it had resolved (every few months, another cycle). I'm younger by over 5 years. I'm thinking back on the story, when we realize Takumi is a victim, i think i felt the same way actually acknowledging how bad it is. I felt and acted like takumi i think. My sibling puts emotional expectations on me that go beyond that of a romantic partner honestly. Constantly testing me and then lashing out and apologizing and "reflecting." when lashing out will send really emotionally violent texts throughout the day. then act normal the next. I'm moving out asap now
A lot of people excuse abuse just because of "blood bonds" but from personal experience, neither love nor abuse care about blood, I'm glad that you realised the abuse tactics, be aware of guilt tripping stage too. I wish you a safe and successful exit and a happy and healthy life, and a good therapist.
