I really dislike this forced forgiveness trope that the authors latch on too. That woman left him as a child, KNOWING that the dad would abuse him too and started a whole new life. She never looked for him or even tried to get him back after she was in a better place. She only reached out once she found out he was marrying rich and STILL didn’t apologize. Then came back once her new family abandoned her for lying to them. I can understand Byul cause he’s a kid and they didn’t really give him the full story but Dojin knew better; he still chose to go behind Hyesungs back AGAIN for this woman. Don’t forgive her!
I’m trying to think optimistically, hopefully just closure and forgiveness for his OWN INNER PEACE. Not for anyone else. Maybe his kids and himself junSuke

I agree but that’s still not their decision to make.
I’ll bet it was her bum off a brother. He was jealous of her making it where he couldn’t and did that out of spite because he knew their wouldn’t care about the truth; only the way it looked.
