I don't really think that's her real family. I think that's just a family they found to give her a fake identity. Which would make sense, because her father has to be dead and in the "fake family" her "father" is the only one alive. So I think that that family doesn't really have anything to do with her at all. But I'm a little curious if the second born of the red haired woman (you now the one who hit her) is actually going to find out about it. Because he said, that he is going to find out how her mother and father took over the family.

the fake family name was acquired by the ML for Avery so that she’ll have a noble name despite being a commoner (since SPOILER: he does not know yet that she’s actually from a noble family since his father didn’t tell him yet). It’s something that the ML was working hard for as part of his plans so that it’ll be easier for people to accept him wanting to marry Avery. Despite his quite conceited ways of believing that she won’t reject his proposal, he really did work hard for a lot of things so that avery won’t have a hard time if she’ll be with him even if she’s a commoner T_T

She is indeed the heir of the Duke. Her father was the heir, and he was killed by his own sister who wanted to make her husband into a Count even though he is the second son. The ones who know about this are the Queen, Albert's parents (the dad is Elijah's dad best friend), and the Duke (the grandfather of Elijah).

So Elijah has Duke grandfather, killer aunty and her husband, and 2 cousins (Matthew and Benjamin). Matthew currently is said to be the first heir. But apparently it is not (the fact that only those 4 people (the queen, duke, count and countess) know) That's why the count family keep Elijah there as a boy and has her dyed her hair brown. Because damn she looks just like her father with her red hair.

All of this is told by Albert's dad (Joseph) to Albert at their home after Elijah is kidnapped by the killer aunty. She is still in the aunty house.
The chapter ended with the story about Elijah's dad (Joseph is telling Albert the secret and the story). Cliffhanger. We don't know yet how Elijah can go out from that killer house.

Yes! but i’m confused with the killer auntie’s actions since i have a friend who had read raws up to chapter 70+ and said that killer auntie wasn’t able to successfully kill Elijah’s father. So Elijah Sr. (her father) brought Elijah’s mom and Elijah far away to hide and live peacefully (until such time that Elijah Sr died naturally and Joseph continued helping Elijah and her mom to hide). Friend also said that the killer auntie killed her husband’s older brother so that his husband ( a second born in his family) could successfully succeed. So i’m confused rn if killer auntie actually killed her brother (Elijah Sr) or if the only one she killed was her husband’s older brother. Still, she’s evil and should perish! Really excited for all the revelations in succeeding chapters.

ah yes, i agree with the auntie being greedy for power. but i was wondering about the different spoilers i’ve seen since others say auntie killed elijah’s father but i’ve also received spoilers that auntie wasn’t able to successfully kill elijah’s father sooo i’m confused hahaha but gosh, if the queen really knew and she didn’t do anything, she needs to go down and crown prince should become a better king too

the father was going to marry the queen but he was in love with a maid who was pregnant with the MC and planed on being with her over the queen it could be why she didn’t do anything about it

i got the same spoilers with you but it was shared to me by friends from the raws and they said the parts we were talking bout was from up until chapters 70+ and the reveals of avery’s true identity took quite a slow pace in being revealed thus, they’re still getting to saving her from her crazy relatives

Perhaps you're talking about the novel or the remake/adapted version of this manhua? fl didn't actually die of illness though. Her death was misinformation that they spread so that the ml would give up on trying to find her.

I read the novel and watched the drama and you might be confused. After Pingting does back with her master, Beijie isn't told she died. Because of the treaty Beijie made to Hexia, he can't attack Yan so he goes after the country of Liang. Meanwhile, Pingting ends up leaving her master because she's in love with Beijie and her master can no longer trust her. She ends up in the Liang after her bestfriend Yan Feng asks her for help with the war. Pingting joins the war as Liang's war tactician and she meets Beijie again and they get together once more.

There is a part later in the story where Beijie is told Pingting has died but it wasn't due to disease.

I think the story you're thinking of is the novel Bu Bu Jing xi or one of its drama adaptations: Scarlet Heart (chinese drama) or Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo where at the end the girl gets sick and she sends a letter to the emperor to come visit her one last time. Due to a misunderstanding, he doesn't read the letter and she ends up dying waiting for him.

Yeah I'm not feeling it any more. The vampire story was already so so with the "system" becoming more vicious. And her attitude this time feels false especially if you look back at the earlier chapters.

Seriously. All of them are just idiot fucking useless insensitive indifferent selfish self-centred fucksters!!! I wish I could cure them all. I only like Nate in this whole manga. Now even if he kills Tan and Kate I'll be fine with it and still find him loveable
