i noticed a few things that broke me. when yuugen persisted in visiting hide's home and met his mom, hide's family is still sad but not mourning anymore. is it bc it's been months, or a year, since hide died? it's even more obvious when yuugen said that seeing hide still in his summer outfit makes him a little sad. seasons have already changed yet hide stayed the same, literally stuck in place and time. also, during class picture taking, hide's friend noticed yuugen and pulled him closer. hide's reaction absolutely crushed my soul. him making that face... is it bc it pains him to think that despite being remembered, the spaces that were usually meant for him in the lives of ppl he loved will still be filled by someone else? or is it bc he realized that yuugen will form relationships with ppl other than him and will fall in love w someone else eventually? anyway, why am i doing this to myself????
the plot and characters are so perfect. i wanna read it again and again even if it hurts. i love hide and yuugen so much
