Caly, I know it feels difficult now but it does get better and time really does heal. I’m dealing with my own personal hardship of losing a pet, stay strong.
I am so sorry for your loss. I lost two of my dogs last year. I adopted both of them when they were puppies almost 14 years ago. When the older of the two dogs (just older by six months) died, the other followed a few months after. The pain still crushes my heart to this day and even though I know they had a good life with me but I still cry and miss them so much. And yes, time passing does help make the pain more tolerable. I wish the best for you.
I wanted to say how refreshing it was to read your comment. Thank you for being such a thoughtful person.....for reaching out, despite your own struggles and pain, to encourage another person during their difficult time.
Thank you, I appreciate it, He was 15 and lived a good life but it’s never easy letting go. I’m so sorry for your loss dealing with losing one is painful, I can’t imagine having to say goodbye to two so close, they really do become family. No matter the struggle it helps to let people know they are not alone.
That escalated real quick
