If you really think about it. It is kinda normalising grooming. i get your point but intention is very important when it comes to grooming. the person has to hold malicious or abusive intent towards the victim, to which mc does not do. he takes care of the ml in a parent way. which still, leads to a different dynamic, just not a grooming one.
