Tbh ik im setting the bar low but highschool boys being supportive of their friends gay relationship is a miracle in itself, and in such a homogeneous country as Japan too.
Id say their depiction is realistic if nothing else. Some boys can be incredibly cruel and thoughtless in their adolescence.
