I haven’t read Passion novel yet, but from what everyone’s been saying since Taeui goes with Xinlu and Ilay sees, Taeui suffers the consequences.. In Raga we learn about Xinlu’s background and see why he acts the way he does and so you sort of feel for him and he has his own love interest there.. I suggest reading it!!!
