after this the empress and lin's relationship going "down hill". lin would start to feel jealous of the emperor and the empress, she would begin to realize that she saw the emperor as a man. on the other hand, our main couple's relationship will develop rapidly! unfortunately we'll see angst first.
there would be a time when the emperor and empress spent their time together, and lin's maid would tell them that lin was sick and wanted to see emperor. the emperor, of course agrees to lin's request, empress will ask him to stay by her side because she has a bad feeling. i forgot how emperor responded, but he'll come to find lin and leave empress alone. in here lin was lying btw. she wasn't sick, she just wanted to meet the emperor because she missed him.
anyway, when the two of them were having fun, the empress' bad feeling came true. there was an assassin who tried to kill the empress, again. and this time the assassination attempt was successful. she'll died, and left the emperor to felt sorry because he didn't listen to her. he became depressed, had ptsd, and became a tyrant emperor.
after that he doesn't really care about lin anymore, well he doesn't really care about those around him actually haha. there's one scene where i think lin cross the line btw, she'll recreate the scene before the empress died. she'll feel something bad will happend and etc. i feels so bad for the emperor here, he'll literally still have ptsd from that night...
i cant wait for all of that scene!!!
Hii can i ask that if the emperor and lin slept tgt or did he had feelings for her when the emperor hates the empress or he is just fond of lin bcs of their friendship?
he loved her as a woman before, thats why she was his favorite. they wong really telling us about them after this, its just pinning and angst and lots of frustration hehe
So that means the empress really dies and the story gets over like that!?
i know this might sound really confusing but they'll reunited again after some time. her soul will be back that time, i dont really remember but its either she'll be back in the empress body or she'll be in another body!! hope this help <3
They never have slept together. The Empress has descovered the virginity of the Emperor much chapters ago. And we know Lin just see the Emperor as a childhood friend (and she might be in love with the Empress, sometimes they gave us yuri vibes) ^^
